Acceptable Use Policy
Version 2026-10-08 · in effect from 8 October 2026
The short version
Use Teamline the way a respectful business would: message people who want to hear from you, tell them who you are, stop when they ask, never spam, never deceive, never break the law. If you don't, we may pause or close your account.
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to the Customer and to every User of the account. Words with a capital letter have the meaning given in the Terms.
1. Messaging rules
When you use Teamline to send WhatsApp messages, broadcasts, campaigns or email, you must:
- Have permission. Only send marketing or promotional messages to people who have clearly agreed to receive them from your business (an opt-in), or where the law in their country clearly allows it without consent. A ticked box someone did not tick themselves, or consent hidden in general terms, is not permission.
- Not use bought, rented, scraped or shared lists, or numbers collected from groups, directories or websites without the person's agreement.
- Say who you are. Make it clear which business is sending the message.
- Make stopping easy and respect it. Include a simple way to opt out in marketing messages (for example “Reply STOP to stop”) and stop messaging anyone who opts out or asks you to stop, by any wording, promptly and in any event within the time the law requires. Do not message them again for marketing unless they opt in again.
- Respect quiet hours. Do not send marketing messages to people in the UAE outside 7:00 am – 9:00 pm UAE time, and follow the quiet hours that apply in other countries.
- Not spam. No unsolicited bulk messages, repetitive or high-volume messages to people who have not asked for them, chain messages, or message floods.
- Not get around limits. Do not try to bypass the daily new-contact limits, pacing, AI limits or any other protection, for example by spreading sending across many numbers or accounts.
- Keep records. Keep proof of each person's permission and of opt-outs, and give it to us if we ask.
2. WhatsApp numbers
- Only link a WhatsApp number that your business owns or controls, or whose holder has given you clear, informed consent to link it, knowing that all of its chats (including personal ones) will be copied to Teamline and seen by the people you assign.
- Do not link a number to read someone else's messages, to monitor a person secretly, or for any purpose the holder has not agreed to.
- Follow WhatsApp's own terms and policies for your account. Do not use Teamline to do anything WhatsApp prohibits for your account.
3. Content you must never send or store
- Anything illegal in the UAE or in the recipient's country, or that promotes illegal activity.
- Fraud, scams, phishing, fake prizes, pyramid or get-rich-quick schemes, or false or misleading claims.
- Malware, harmful links, or anything designed to get into or damage someone's device or accounts.
- Impersonation of another person, company, brand or government body, or hiding or faking who you are.
- Harassment, threats, bullying, hate speech, or content that insults religion or promotes discrimination or violence.
- Sexual content, content involving minors in any harmful way, or content that exploits anyone.
- Gambling, drugs, weapons, alcohol, tobacco or other regulated goods or services, unless legal where you and the recipient are and you hold any required licence.
- Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
- Political campaigning or election messages in bulk.
- Other people's sensitive data (health, financial account or card numbers, identity documents, biometric data) unless you are legally allowed and have taken the steps the law requires.
4. AI features
- Do not use the AI Assistant to deceive people about who or what they are talking to where the law requires disclosure, to pressure vulnerable people, or to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on anyone.
- Do not try to make the AI produce prohibited content, reveal other customers' information, or break its safety instructions.
- Check the AI's instructions and answers regularly and turn it off or hand over to a person when needed.
5. The Service itself
- Do not attempt to access other customers' data, other accounts or parts of the Service you are not allowed to use.
- Do not probe, scan or test the Service's security, overload it, or interfere with how it works, without our written permission.
- Do not reverse engineer, copy, resell, or build a competing service from the Service.
- Do not share logins between people; each User should have their own.
- Do not use the Service if you or your business are subject to UN or UAE sanctions.
6. What we do about breaches
We do not monitor your messages as a matter of routine, but we may investigate when we receive a complaint, see signs of abuse (for example many opt-outs or blocks), or are required by law. If we reasonably believe this policy has been broken, we may, without liability to you: warn you; pause or stop a campaign, broadcast, AI feature or number; suspend Users or the account; delete the offending content; close the account under the Terms; and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where possible we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem.
7. Reporting abuse
If you receive unwanted messages sent through Teamline, or see any other abuse, please write to info@andybot.net with the sender's number or email, the date and, if possible, a screenshot. We will look into it.
